Snowy

Hi Koko, 

I am not a dog person. I have lived the major part of my life swearing by this, that is until a few days ago. 

You have been asking for a pet for a long time and you generally never ask for something so I feel a tiny bit bad to say no. But I had quite made up my mind to say no to this ask. Primarily because I am not really comfortable around a dog and also because the majority of tasks would come to me.  

But who can say no to this face? The moment we walked into Bangalore Puppy Farm, I knew we will not walk out empty handed. This Shih Tzu puppy just came and propped himself on my lap and it was love at first sight, for me. Suddenly that puppy shaped hole in our heart was filled and our family was complete. 

After around 45 mins of having several puppies running around and over us, this little guy was the one who came home with us. 


After he came home, I feel like you have really grown up. I see you take care of him, serve his food and water, clean his face after his meals, clean his poop and pee, bathe him. The way you take care of him shows me what a kind and caring person you are growing up to be. 

I wanted to name him Leo, but you had decided that you are Tintin and he shall be your Snowy, so that's the name we are going with. But secretly, I call him Leo :)

Take care of him forever, like you do.

 Hi Koko,  So we changed our car. Yes, our favorite Honda City, in it's shiny maroon belongs to someone else now. While we have moved on to a majestic ride, can we take a moment to reminisce the beautiful times we spent in it?  The car was older than you.  Hi Koko,  Do you know what I love more than anything else in the world - freebies! If I suddenly get a free shampoo in my grocery order, or an extra serving in my KFC order I am the happiest happy person on the planet. So let me tell you the story of a chance that i got to see an exclusive art exhibit, with wine and cheese and all! So we were on the last leg of our Italy trip and we had a lazy day where our plan was to just walk around and explore Rome. As we were walking through the ruins of the Pantheon we heard the word which can strike terror into the heart of any parent who se child has recently graduated to a diaper free life - potty! Yes, there in the middle of ruins (literally!) you needed to get on with your business! What's with you, wonders of the world and potty. Are All the Questions Done?

 Dear Koko,  The lifelong struggle of mother and son has begun - homework, homework and more homework! It seems like a never ending saga, where you try to get out of work and I try to best you at your game. We have all done it, disclosing only as much is needed, artfully hiding facts, giving out half truths as per your own convenience. For generations children have duped their mothers so.  So I will tell you what happened a couple of days back. You had to complete your Kannada homework and there were a number of questions to be done - around four or five. Now while I make an impression that I am checking your work, to be honest I cannot tell one letter from the other in Kannada. the script is just pictures to me and I am quite illiterate when it comes to this language. So mostly I have to go by what you tell me. So I tell you "Koko you have this homework and you gotta complete it".  You begrudgingly sit down.
